Jose Ventura, Director of Operations
Jose has over 20 years experience in commercial landscaping. In Jose's current role at Native Land Design, he manages multiple crews, utilizing his extensive experience in landscape and installation, safety training, shop management, irrigation installation and maintenance, turf care, and tree pruning.
Jose is a proven leader, respected by those who work for and around him. He started his career a crew leader in 1990, then moved up to roles such as Area Manager and Production Manager for TruGreen Landcare.
Jose attended the University of Houston, and currently lives in the Houston area with his wife and children.
Alex Genovez, Account Manager
Alex brings a wealth of experience in landscape installation, maintenance, irrigation, and tree pruning to Native Land Design, having worked in various roles over the past twenty two years.
Alex attended College Centro America in Sonsonate City, El Salvador.
Sandra Leija, Administration and Client Relations Manager
Sandra began working in the landscaping industry in 2001, and gained significant office management experience working for TruGreen LandCare where she began as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Office Manager and then Region Champion. For Native Land Design, Sandra manages all administrative duties for the McAllen and Houston offices.
Sandra earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems from the University of Houston in 2006. She and her husband were recently married in Jalisco, Mexico.
